Project Overview

City, Country

Sofia, Bulgaria. Infinity Escape (today Infinity Adventures) runs its rooms in the Studentski Kompleks district of Sofia.

Client Type

A new escape room company making its first steps in the business, run by its owners Veronika and Miro. Today they run escape rooms, action games and a Quizy game show.

The Purpose of the Project

To be competitive from day one, the owners wanted something new and exciting that players could not find on the Bulgarian market at that time:
  • a high level of automation and beautiful, hand-made decoration
  • a first room that opens fast: Game of Stones 2, ready to play
  • next rooms built to their own ideas on our Magic School: own game flow, puzzles and decor

Terms of Implementation

Production: about 60 working days for a standard room, about 90 for a custom room
Delivery: organised by Indestroom, on plan even during the pandemic
Installation: by the client’s own team

Floor plan, wiring plan and decoration ideas came from Indestroom. The puzzles arrived, were plugged in, and the first room was ready to play.

Age Restrictions

Recommended age: 12+ for the standard versions of both rooms.

Players and reviewers often name the magic rooms a great choice for families.

Capacity

Up to 8 players per room.

At Infinity Escape the rooms are played in 75-minute sessions, a strong fit for families, friends and teams.

Area

Muggle and Muggle 2 are large custom rooms of about 80-100 m² each (860-1,080 sq ft), built over several rooms with big decorations.

Game of Stones 2, the standard ready-to-play room, needs 30-50 m².

TERPECA Recognition

The Mystery of the Secret Chamber, our Muggle 2 built with Infinity Escape, was nominated for TERPECA in 2023, 2024 and 2025 and reached the finalist list in 2024 and 2025.

TERPECA is the yearly ranking of the world’s top escape rooms, voted by the most experienced players.

Repeat Orders

Since 2021, Infinity Escape has come back again and again: Game of Stones 2 (2021), Muggle, a custom Magic School (opened October 2021), Muggle 2 and the Wands Shop (2022), a portable Magic School for kids’ parties (2024) and our Quizy game show (2025).

Expected Payback Period

Estimated 12-18 months, depending on the location, the ticket price and the number of games a week.

Example: tickets for The Secret Chamber start at €23 per player. With up to 8 players, a team of 6 brings about €138 a game. At 2 games a day, that is about €100,000 a year in ticket sales, before rent, staff and other costs. The wand shop add-on and merchandise add to every visit.

Investment Range

€80,000-€110,000 for a large custom room like Muggle or Muggle 2, depending on size, decorations and effects.

Standard room kits at list price: Game of Stones 2 €55,700, Magic School €55,460, production only. Clients who order several rooms get a multi-room discount. Delivery and venue preparation come on top.

From Concept to Completion

The Infinity Escape project shows how a new company can grow from one ready-to-play room to a TERPECA finalist with the same supplier.
01 · FIRST ROOM

Game of Stones 2, Ready to Play

The owners chose a popular theme and the ready-to-play version, with no customization:
  • Floor plan, wiring plan and decoration ideas from Indestroom
  • Delivery arranged by Indestroom
  • Puzzles plugged in and the room ready for operation
  • An answer to every one of their questions
The first feedback was so good that 3 months after the kickoff they started on the second room.
02 · CUSTOM ROOM

Muggle, a Magic School of Their Own

For the second room they took our Magic School and changed a lot:
  • Their own game flow
  • Different decorations
  • Modified and new puzzles
  • Delivered on plan during the pandemic
Muggle opened in October 2021 and quickly became a huge success.
03 · TOP ROOM

Muggle 2 and the Wands Shop

In 2022 Infinity Escape and Indestroom built the next magic room together:
  • The Mystery of the Secret Chamber, our Muggle 2
  • A wand shop with a live actor, played as an add-on
  • TERPECA nominee in 2023, finalist in 2024 and 2025
Then came a portable Magic School for kids’ parties and our Quizy game show.

The Wands Shop: Wow Effects That Sell

Next to Muggle 2, Infinity Escape runs a wand shop where the game master plays a wizard. For his show we built gadgets with electronics that make the magic happen. Players book it as an extra 15-minute experience, and reviewers call it a highlight of the visit.
01 · THE SHOW

A Wizard Behind the Counter

The game master plays the shop’s wizard:
  • He casts a spell, and the shop answers
  • Every player chooses a wand
  • Humour and acting, like a small theatre show
  • Loved by children and adults alike
Players leave the shop as part of the magic world.
02 · THE GADGETS

Tricks with Electronics

We built and tested the gadgets for his tricks:
  • Roses that react to a spell
  • A sudden gust of wind out of nowhere
  • A bell that rings by itself
  • All triggered by the wizard’s hidden remote
Wow effects that make every show look like real magic.
03 · THE SALES

Extra Revenue

The shop turns the story into sales:
  • An add-on ticket: the 15-minute Mystic Wands experience
  • Merchandise players take home
  • A fully immersive magic world that brings families back
More revenue from every visit, on top of the escape room ticket.

Escape rooms, Sofia, Bulgaria. Veronika and Miro about their rooms, in their own words:
    Looking for a supplier

“We had a clear idea of what we wanted, but not how to achieve it. After some research we could not find a suitable vendor that could help us achieve what we had in mind. Just when we were about to quit, we found Indestroom… their portfolio was nothing like we had seen until then. The level of automation, the beautiful decoration, everything unique and hand made.

    Something new for the market

As a company that was just making its first steps in the ER business, we knew that in order to be competitive we had to propose something new and exciting to the players, something that was not available on the market at that time.

A video call from the factory

Won’t hide that Alex got us in the second he answered our call with a video in the middle of the factory. He showed us the production site in real time with all that beauty inside. It took us 10 minutes to make the final decision to work with the Alex and his team. It was like walk in the park afterwards.

The first room, ready to play

We choose a popular theme and picked the ready to play version, no customization was needed. It could not have been easier – floor plan, wiring plan, decoration ideas – Indestroom provided everything. Delivery was also arranged by them, we just had to wait for the puzzles to arrive, plug them on and the room was ready for operation. We had 1000 questions of course, and there was always somebody ready to respond to our queries.

    The first result

We love our room. People love our room. The initial feedback was amazing, so 3 months after the kickoff, we started working on our second room.

The second room, their own way

We chose another famous theme of theirs but changed a lot – created our own game flow, asked for different decorations, modified and new puzzles. We never got “no” for an answer, everything is possible with Indestroom! We have never received ‘no’ as an answer – they could do everything we wanted, the way we wanted it, or even better.

    100% custom

This time we chose another popular theme but had a lot better idea of what and how we wanted it, it was 100% custom – game flow, puzzles, decorations. The whole process was quick and very well organized all the way from receiving the quote to having the ER shipped to Bulgaria. The equipment was delivered as planned, although it happened during the pandemic. We could not be happier with the end result, it was just as we imagined it.

    A huge success

Our second room “Muggle – An unexpected journey” opened in October 2021 and quickly became a huge success! Our guests are just amazed with the room and the most common feedback is that the room is the best that they have ever visited. We are already working with the Alex and Indestroom team on our 3rd Room. It felt more than natural to continue our adventure in ER business with the support of Indestroom.

    A brand in Bulgaria

With the help of Indestroom, Infinity Escape quickly became one of the best brands in the ER industry in Bulgaria.

    The result

Cannot be more satisfied and happier with the customer service, the quality of the puzzles, and the support we got from Indestroom on every step of the way. Choosing Indestroom was the best decision we could have made.”

Client interview: from a turnkey escape room to TERPECA finalist

“I’m really proud to say that we have a turnkey escape room from Indestroom, and we are TERPECA finalists.”

“It is possible to get a turnkey escape room and get to the TERPECA list.”

“We’ve got players coming from abroad, enthusiasts who played more than a thousand escape rooms, and they love it. They say that the decorations are amazing, the wow effects are amazing.”
